|
|
I'm working on Windows XP and I have an issue where I open a TTF file for 2 different fonts but the same name displays at the top.
Example:
I have "LemonadeICG", "Lemonade PlusThree" and "LemonadeICGBold" in my C:Windows/Fonts folder.
"LemonadeICG" and "LemonadeICG Bold" display the correct names at top. When I open "Lemonade PlusThree", the name that displays at top is "Lemonade Regular". If I copy and paste "Lemonade PlusThree" onto my desktop and open it, the correct name then displays.
Any idea why?? |

efiorello,
The font name that windows displays is embedded in the font file itself, and can be edited using a variety of software, some free and some shareware. I know that FontCreator 5.5 can do it.
See the conclusion to my thread "TT Font won't install in WinXP SP2". My problem was related to the font name fields in the font file as well.
